I would like to offer a 1-month internship at my studio in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

I am still recovering from an injury and surgery on my wrist, and need some assistance in order to carry out my work at this time. I’m looking for someone who can help me build the basic shapes that are the foundation of my work, which require more strength in the hand and thumb. I am able to finish the pieces with the more small detailed work.

Intern should be able to:

Wedge clay

Roll coils

Create pinched vessels in specific sizes

Help me lift things that I can’t lift

Re-mix hard-panned glazes

I would love to offer in exchange, my mentorship, the ability to work on your own projects in the space after completeing tasks, free materials and free firing.

If you are a student looking for an internship, or a self-taught ceramicist looking for mentorship and an opportunity to gain experience working in a ceramic studio, I would love to hear from you.

The internship is first a 1-month trial basis, to see if the arrangement is mutually enriching, with the possibility to re-negotiate after this time. Work will begin after November 15th (based on availability) and comprise of 6 hours a week of work, which can be divided based on the interns availability and work style.

Neurodiverse applicants are strongly encouraged <3
