I am selling some of the work I made while I was one of the artists in residence at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark this fall.

At Guldagergaard I learned how to soda-fire ceramics in a wood-fired kiln. In a soda-firing, sodium oxide is sprayed into the kiln near the end of the firing, and at this high temperature the soda binds with the silica molecules in the clay creating a glassy finish. The wood-fired pieces are particularly unique, as the trace of the flames is embedded on the surface of the ceramics and various atmospheric elements create unexpected and magical results.

I also worked on glaze chemistry at Guldagergaard and have a few pieces featuring the new glazes I developed during my time there. 

At the bottom I have a reduced section with seconds from the residency as well as some older pieces on sale.
